We found an apartment! It's a 3-bedroom with a big backyard for gardening, and it's in a quieter neighborhood but convenient to everything we need :) Minnow loves having her room, and while she still sleeps in our bed at night, she likes hanging out in her room, and is always saying things like, "Minnow get inna own bed." We love it so far, even though we barely have any furniture (but we have Minnow's room mostly done, and we have a bed, so that's the main thing). :)
In other news, Minnow is learning French from our French friends! So far, she can say,
Bonjour (hello)
Merci boucoup (thank you)
le neige (snow)
le nez (nose)
la bouche (mouth)
compote de pomme (applesauce)
encore (more)
And some others. I said to her, "Yay, you're speaking French!" And her eyes lit up and she said, "...French fries?!"
She is also becoming more and more nurturing. She cares for her dolls like they're real babies--changing their diapers, wrapping them in blankets, wearing them in a carrier, putting them to bed, even holding her hand under their heads while carrying them. It's so cute :) And I don't know where she got this, but she will now look at her doll and say, "Ohh, honey," and shake her head. :p
The bathroom has a nice skylight :)
